Bandbox | Athletic Script Typeface

StudioWorks presents •• B A N D B O X •• — a bold athletic script typeface.

Inspired by classic sport logo lock-ups, *Bandbox* delivers with its heavy, streaming cursive letterforms. *Bandbox’s* wide, gently-sloped script comes bundled with a collection of ligatures and 18 athletic swash banners, perfect for logotype, posters and t-shirt designs.

Here’s what’s included in the single-weight typeface Bandbox:

• Upper (A-Z) and lower case (a-z) characters
• Numbers (0-9)

NOTE: The *Bandbox* title art, ‘Varsity’ and ‘Brooklyn’ pieces take advantage of shearing to angle the text. The sans serif complement used on the title art, ‘Varsity’ and ‘Titans’ pieces is *Thoren Sans* (available from StudioWorks). The ‘East Borough Stickball’ typeface is *Killebrew Homer* (also available from StudioWorks). Alternate characters, ligatures and swashes are best seen using the Glyphs Panel. UPDATE: January 2022 – Athletic swashes, ligatures and alternate characters are also included as separate OTF files for those that use software unable to utilize Open Type features.
