Drawing for the love of it
One of the ways I keep the creative fires lit is to sketch, draw or doodle. Several years ago I set out to accomplish the goal of doing at least one drawing every day. In order to make myself accountable, I shared these illustrations in a blog that I named Inklings. These daily doodles started out as simple black and white inkings with a caption, and later evolved into full color pictorial essays. Inklings has rewarded me with an extensive collection of illustrative work that I consider a virtual sketchbook. Some illustrations have enjoyed a second life on other blogs, where new audiences continue to grow.
