Both incorporated the state capitol as an element.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_859\" style=\"width: 503px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-859\" class=\"wp-image-859\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thorenson.com\/portfolio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/CapsMyThumbs.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"493\" height=\"313\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thorenson.com\/portfolio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/CapsMyThumbs.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.thorenson.com\/portfolio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/CapsMyThumbs-300x190.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 493px) 100vw, 493px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-859\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Keeping the client&#8217;s input in mind, I attempted to incorporate some of the board&#8217;s imagery into the logo. The symbolic star in a circle, denoting a capital city on a map, was a recurring theme.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_861\" style=\"width: 504px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-861\" class=\"wp-image-861\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thorenson.com\/portfolio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/CapsIdentitySet.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"494\" height=\"140\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-861\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The finished identity set incorporates\u00a0layout and type combinations\u00a0for different branding applications on merchandise.<\/p><\/div>\n<h4>Power Play: Capitals Hockey Logo<\/h4>\n<p>The Bismarck Hockey Boosters approached me about redesigning the primary identity for all their hockey operations from PeeWee to Bantam.
