I maintained that story element in the new\u00a0identity by including\u00a0the clock hands in the R&#8217;s counter.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_908\" style=\"width: 504px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-908\" class=\"wp-image-908\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thorenson.com\/portfolio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/Rock30napkin1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"494\" height=\"370\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thorenson.com\/portfolio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/Rock30napkin1.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.thorenson.com\/portfolio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/Rock30napkin1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 494px) 100vw, 494px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-908\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Aside from the initial chicken scratches during my meeting with the client, the concept for Rock 30&#8217;s identity was, believe it or not, born on a cocktail napkin.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_895\" style=\"width: 504px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-895\" class=\"wp-image-895\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thorenson.com\/portfolio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/Rock30Family.png\" alt=\"Rock30Family\" width=\"494\" height=\"261\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thorenson.com\/portfolio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/Rock30Family.png 550w, https:\/\/www.thorenson.com\/portfolio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/Rock30Family-300x158.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 494px) 100vw, 494px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-895\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Rock 30 identity was designed to be modular. An alternate R30 tag was created for merchandising and branding.<\/p><\/div>\n<h4>Time to Rock<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rock30games.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rock30 Games<\/a> was originally started by a group of high school friends who spent time playing video games together. It has now grown into an impressive franchise with six locations within the state. I learned that the name of the business referred to\u00a0that generic time whenever these friends got together to &#8216;game&#8217;. I knew the identity needed to reflect a digital tech kind of fun, so I created some customized typefaces to create a memorable brand.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Time to Rock Rock30 Games was originally started by a group of high school friends who spent time playing video games together.
