I remember growing up how much of a chore it was to chisel out the four foot high snow <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Dam\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dam\">dam<\/a> of <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Ice\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ice\">ice<\/a> and compacted snow at the end of the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Driveway\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Driveway\">driveway<\/a>. The residual snow left by snow <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Plough\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Plough\">plows<\/a> equipped with snow gates leaves nothing more than a speed bump that you can easily drive over.
